    Juanma Lopez defense

I am rican and I have to say , Lopez needs to work on his defense asap if he wants to hang in there with Gamboa.

Gamboa dont really have flaws. He does have a glass chin , and he comes back and makes easy work of his opponents.

If Juanma manages to catch him early with his stones , cuz he does have big punching power , then it will be interesting to see if Gamboa gets hurt.

Lopez gets hit when he exchanges. And Gamboa's blinding speed , almost like pacquiao's speed , tags u nd hurts u.

straight up I dont know what to think. Its a toss up really. Gambo has been down , and Lopez can definitely hurt him. But gamboa is so sharp that Lopez cannot commit the same mistakes. Dumb mistakes if you ask me.

I don't think it's so much his defense as it is composure. The Marquez bout at this stage is perfect for him. He'll learn a lot and if he's victorious, will carry those lessons with him.

Ditto man, if he doesn't fix things quick he is gonna get stomped by both.

Gamboa I don't think has a glass chin, quite the contrary...he seems to me to be more of a Tito type of fighter, where in the early goings, they are aggressive and often off-balance where a punch can knock them down...not really hurting them...merely waking them up

I agree but if he keeps getting caught, one of them will eventually seriously hurt him.

LOL. He falls in love with his power. And quickly gets impatient and throws his plan (if any) out the window.

Lopez was superior to Concepcion in every aspect. I think it showed.

but he gets impatient , and wants to finish in impressive fashion.

If he would 've just taken his time and land shots and accommodate Concepcion , he would've looked better , and probably still would've finished it with a ko. But i guess he wanted to finish it as quick as possible , and it exposed hi yet again.

i agree with your opinion of juanma having sorry defense.. i disagree with your assessment of gamboa having no flaws.. he has plenty of defensive flaws and has a glass chin.. granted if juanma decides to fight him, i would favor gamboa mainly because of his speed and offensive output

Gamboa does have flaws , like he fights with his hands down at times , and jumps i and out with hands down. But thats more his style I guess. I would favor Gamboa to. Lopez power is what keeps him in there.

Lopez needs to fight a few more guys before Gamboa. Maybe take on caballero finally and rojas if Gamboa betas him. Nobody else would help him prepare.

I dont know why they havent mentioned john.
