I dont think that we learned all that much about JuanMa's chin tonight. Yeah, he got dropped; but I think that was more or less because he was off balanced and squared up trying for the stoppage with more flash than actual power, and Conception saw it(and felt it) and fired off a solid left hook, that caught JuanMa by surprise more than actually hurt him. If that punch really would've hut Juan he wouldn't have hunted Conception the entire 2nd round. If Rafa "rocks" him we'll se JuanMa react totally different than we saw tonight.

You are underrating Rafael quite a bit there, if Lopez gets all crazy on him like he did tonight, he might find himself on the floor again. Lopez needs to fight in a calm manner, he has great counter-punching, he should use it more.

I feel ya. JuanMa lost ALL resepect from me for the Caba duck, he loses even more from me for the Rafa fight on the real. A Gamboa fight in place of Rafa would suite me better but still would not repair the damage that Caba has caused(And they aint even step into the ring with eachother yet).

On the contrary Esco, I'm by no means underrating Rafa. Could Rafa win????? Yes. Do I think he will due to his fighter's mentality?????? No. It'll get him in trouble against JuanMa's power. And Rafa can't afford to do that at this stage in his career. Rafa has the likes of Espinoza, Mark "Too Sharp" Johnson(2x's), Tim Austin, Izzy(4x's), Silence(2x's). You match any of them in their prime against JuanMa and they get the win over him simple as that. With that said even though it's not showing on Rafa right now it has taken a toll on him, that will show once he gets rounds in with JuanMa. One thing that Juan showed us tonight is that he will adjust when caught slippin. So if Rafa catches him which he very well can and will, JuanMa wont give him the type of respect that he would a younger fresher fighter. Which always leaves the door open for a KO, JuanMa by not respecting Rafa because of his age will close the door on that avenue IMHO. I really want Rafa to win this fight because it MAKES JuanMa HAVE to fight Caba I think.
