Juanma is too much for gamboa. Gamboa is fast no doubt but juanma has underrated speed. He catch you with one of his flurries and it's good night for you!
Plus juanma faced better oppostion than yuriorkis did. Just because gerry exposed some of juanma's weaknesses in a losing effort (too open when he loads up for a shot therefore counterable with a right cross) doesn't mean you can just go in there and follow that blueprint with your speed and power. You have to be a good counter puncher against juanma to survive early rounds. But even the good counter puincher in luevano and penalosa did not do wonders for them. Yuriorkis is not as good as them in terms of countering. He has great speed and power and has decent boxing skills but imo juanma is more fundamentally sound than yuriorkis is and if he timed yuriorkis right, it might be, yet again, an early win for juanma.

Why did Mtagwa take JuanMa to the brink?

I am just wondering if he get baited into a firefight, can he get out of it?

If he boxes he's got a helluva chance against anyone, but when his machismo rises, he leaves himself open.

Then he will wait for yuirorkis to make a mistake and boom! Just like he did against ponce. Ponce is a power puncher like yuriorkis.
And i give props to Mtagwa on that one. But Mtagwa is a technical boxer. His boxing skill is better than gamboa imo. Gamboa is a boxer-puncher with power but he is not as tecnically good as Mtagwa when it comes to boxing skills. Decent but not as good as Mtagwa.
Juan ma has power to take people to the dream world. You wouldn't have a boxer's chance against him if you're going to go toe to toe with him with your power! (Look what happened to bernabe!) Juanma is more fundamentally sound than yuriorkis imo. He'll win that megafight if it pushes through. (And it might knowing arum.)

          I favor JaunMa.

But you loss me on this response.

There is so much wrong with this answer.

            The Mtagwa gave JuanMa hell.

            1st JaunMa underestimated him.

2nd he fought a extremely dumb fight. Didn't use his jab well and got drawn into exchanges.

3rd he may have been weight drained i don't know.

            Now Gamboa destroys Mtagwa.

1st They fought at 126 and Mtagawa weighed in at 122 basically giving up his only potential advantage power and strength.

            2nd Gamboa didn't underestimate him.

3rd Gamboa fought a smart fight.

I really hope he can get over the Macho factor.
            .
Conciepion did the same thing Penalosa was able to do but with power.

Hes gonna get caught again and his power might not bail him out next time.

              LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

Dude, did you just say that Mtagwa, one of the few boxers who have absolutely no skill has better skills than Gamboa, one of the most skilled current boxers in a P4P basis (****yness apart)? Are you really comparing a sloppy boxer with no technique as Mtagwa (which everyone knows is a bum) to a ****in Golden Olympian? You should be banned immediately for lack of boxing knowledge in a boxing forum.

Wait, let me quote you: "But Mtagwa is a technical boxer." You made my day here, thank you again
