Ricky Hatton vs. Emanuel Augustus: WHo wins?

augustus said he wanted to fight mayweather or hatton sometime...and I was thinking how would he do vs hatton? would hatton just blow him out or would it be a close fight like ward vs augustus/burton...this thread may sound like a joke but how do you guys see this fight going?

In all seriousness I think Augustus could hang with Hatton quite well. Really, there has never been a fighter he did not fight respectably against to my knowledge and that includes Mayweather and alot of other Grade A fighters.

I think Augustus could last into the mid rounds & possibly even go the distance with the Hitman, but would he be competitive? Highly doubtful....Augustus is a true gate-keeper, and anyone at the elite level would beat him without too many worries, but Augustus is a survivor and could go 12 rounds with almost anybody

It would go the distance but Hatton would win convincingly.

id agree that augustus could go the distance with hatton, and would agree that he could go the distance with many many fighters.
The exception to this rule is of course, the one, the only, Floyd Mayweather

If Ward can floor Agustus with a body shot Hatton can at least slow him down and win enough rounds to win a UD. The only chance Agustus has is to run and pot shot for the first half of the fight kinda like DLH vs Titio then brawl/drunken boxing for the 2nd half.

I like Hatton in the late rounds or a close split. No way he blows out Augustus unless Emmanuel gets the call 3 days before the fight. I got the fight where he gave PBF a tough scrap.
