It's in Argentina. None of those guys are likely to be willing to travel there to fight him, especially as there isn't likely to be much money on offer. It's a tune-up to shake off the ring rust after a lay-off due to management problems. You're right that he'll probably fight a bum, but I think you should judge him on whether he fights an elite fighter in his next fight after that or not, not on who he fights in a tune-up in Argentina in August.

Even though I'd love to see maidana fight any of these fighters, I don't see this happening. Boxing in argentina doesn't generate enough money to bring an elite fighter like one of these guys.

I still wanna see him get his hands on Khan. Wonder if GB would risk putting Ortiz in there with him for a rematch. And Bradley wasn't anxious to face Alexander but he was ready to fight Marcos before. Plenty of action for Maidana once he gets back in the ring. Let's just hope the fights actually happen. 140 is turning into a disappointment.

its supposed to be a tuneup fight so the opponent will probably be unknown. i doubt it will even be televised.

would love to see maidana fight any of the 140s but i could see him going to welterweight soon. The guy is pretty big for a junior welter

damn, i rememba when khan was gunna fight casamoyer as a tune up fight, and every1 was talkin alot of **** about him back then, sayin casa is a bum,(dont 4get the guy is a future hal of famer) when maidana fights a bum that no1z even heard of no1 seems to bothered, i think there is alot of bias 2wards khan, im not sayin anything against maidana, i think every1 like him because he just got the heart, something which khan may lack slightly.

People were talking crap because Khan is the champ and he wasn't coming from a lay-off, he just fought Paulie, and let's not forget that article about Khan saying Maidana ducked him on his twitter page. No bias towards him, but he needs to back up all these claims that he'll fight anyone when we all know GBP is protecting him. We'll see if either Marquez loses or still doesn't want to fight Khan if Khan will actually fight one of the top dogs in HIS weight class. I actually think he can beat some of these guys, the dude has got skills.
