    Rising welterweight contender Mike Jones (22-0, 18KOs) is requesting to get his shot at WBC welterweight champion Andre Berto (26-0, 20KOs). Following Friday five round technical knockout of Irving Garcia at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, the 27-year-old Jones would once again call for the Berto clash.

            i dont see anything special about mike jones. all i see is basic boxing techniqe thats it.Just a decent fighter. berto will be his biggest challenge afther that he wont stand a chance against any other elite fighter.iam not conviced on jones yet.

              Interesting fight HBO should pick up. They are the two best fighters at 147 outside of Pac and Floyd. I got Jones taking it.

                From what I see him and berto have similar flaws. Jones also leaves himself very open at times. Last night I neverous he was going to step into a hook when he threw those wide uppercuts. His height will help him but I think he should get a couple more fights in before looking at berto

                    I keep hearing about this guy, but have yet to watch a fight. Is he any good? I don't rate Berto much, so...
