If this was really about wanting to fight Floyd they wouldn't be publicly pursuing other fights in the press but the truth is they don't wanna fight Floyd they are just trying to make him look bad. The word out is the contract is the same thing Floyd said he wouldn't do, 50/50 and 14 days OST.
Shaefer has been putting the word out for Marquez/Pac 3 which clearly says he doesnt feel Floyd is gonna play games with Top Rank. He may have faxed a contract to Floyd but he also knows that Floyd is gonna stand by his demands.

Manny's camp made an offer and they're the ones that don't want this fight, wow, true form of a *****. If they don't like the offer then come out and say so and just reject the offer, or make a counter offer, do something, anything other than no response. Why make the fans suffer and wait just to be disappointed.

Because they have to bust a move and get the promotional stuff going for the November 13th date that they have reserved for the fight. If they wait till the deadline with no plan B (a plan B that also has another big name in it to garner PPV buys), they may not get things finalized till August. That leaves them a little over 3 months to promote the fight as well as train.

I don't know who to believe but I seriously doubt that all these people in the know are saying that Arum and Mayweather's team met to discuss things when they never did. I seriously doubt they would publicly say they sent Floyd a contract and that he would remain so silent if indeed they did not send the contract to him.

I disagree. FLoyd had the blood tests in the contract from the
beginning and Roach said that it would be no problem and Pac
would take any test. Also Freddie said once Pac accepted the
tests, that Floyd would run away from the fight which turned out
to be the opposite because Pac did it. Another thing, I have a hard
time believing that Floyd is scared of Pac who Roach his own trainer
said that Pac would need more time to prepare for Floyd's style and
switch his whole approach up.
