Oh yes, I forgot about Shane vs Margarito... again it was AFTER Cotto. That is my entire point Margarito made a name for himself off the Cotto win which is completely tainted. The only for Marg to redeem himself is for him to beat Cotto again, except now he can't even get a license because he screwed himself getting caught against Mosley.

As for when he beat Sergio Martinez... come on man, I thought you had a shred of common sense. Martinez took up boxing at age 19 and no amateur career, Marg's fought him when Martinez had 16 professional fights. Put the Cotto after the Mosley fight in there and the outcome would have been the same. I'm talking about a guy who was actually GOOD at the time Marg fought him and won. You can't, because it never happened Marg has 6 losses for a reason, he isn't **** without plaster its that simple. Resto had 7 losses when he fought an undefeated prospect and beat him nearly the same way... Marg's was in the same exact boat.

Margs was already popular with people even before Cotto. As you could see more people were cheering for Margs when he fought Cotto.
That's not the only way to redeem himself. There is plenty of other boxers outside of Cotto. Cotto isn't the only one out there you know. He screwed himself and he paid the price for it.

I personally don't think he looked as bad as many people claim. I've been seeing all his fights for a while. I think it's mostly rust and he wanted to put rounds in. He took it to Garcia and they kept yelling at him "no" to stop.
