Corrales is Mayweathers best performance and win of his carrear.

Best peformance as he schooled the much bigger man and stopped him. Corrales was also the best at 130.

Castillo was a good win but that was a close fight. Hatton was at a weight above his best weight class. Marquez was not an elite WW. Mosley and DLH were not prime.

Early on in his career the Pep fight showed he was a champion in the making with insane skill.

But really, I wouldn't be able to pick a favorite fight out of his career. Too many good one's in my opinion.

gatti----to me floyd was in his absolute prime in that fight----140 was floyd's most complete weight class-----in 2005, nobody wanted it with floyd----

The Corrales fight was his best performence by my favorite fight was either Zab Judah or the 2nd Jose Luis Castillo fight. The Judah fight because he made the adjustments and was beating Judah up so bad that Zab had to hit him low to prevent himself from being stopped. The 2nd Castillo fight because he set the record straight after the controversy in the first fight, Castillo was a great fighter but Floyd never let him get into his rhythm in the 2nd fight. Even though it was close, He proved himself against Castillo who at that time was the best Lightweight in the world and one of the best of this era.

I like his performance and skills he showed in those fights. But to narrow it down to a shorter list I would say Corrales, Judah, Gatti, Mosley and Chavez. I also liked the Hatton check left hook KD.
