I find it extremely odd how this guy went 57 bouts without gracing the oldest, and most respected belts in the sport. He seems content with facing belt-less Yanks with inflated records like Brock and Austin instead of becoming undisputed. Why is this?

The only time he fought for a WBC belt was in a fictional movie, and that bout was ruled a no contest.

    He's avoiding Haye.

    What an atrocity.

I don't find it that odd because he sucks.

Wlad should have received the WBA title after he defeated Ruslan Chagaev.

So in reality, he has all the titles except the WBC, which is held by his brother.

He'll have to fight his brother to get the WBC belt. Something which he wont do and shouldn't have to either.

The division is poor, its not as if anyone stands a chance of beating Wlad right now bar Vitali which wont hapen for obvious reasons. Haye and Adamek are unproven at this weight.

You cant really fault Wlads choice of opposition, its not as if he could have fought better fighters recently anyway.

In reality he has only touched one of the 3 major belts(IBF). Why didnt he go after the WBC from 2004-2008?

Tyson collected all 3 in a few months. Something doesnt add up with Wlad...

What the hell do you mean he's only touched 1 of 3 belts?

He's been the WBO Champion twice.

And as far as the Heavyweight Belts go the WBA is beyond a joke. The IBO is a more legitimate Heavyweight Title.

The WBC is just as bad. When they made Rahman-Barrett for the interim title it became obvious they didn't care about the sport at the WBC either.

Just think, if Haye were around at that time he would have ducked Tyson and Tyson would have never unified the titles.

Thank God at the time of Tyson the Champions actually had the balls to fight each other.
