As exceptional as Pac is with his hands, I doubt he'd fancy being roughed up by a stronger person who knows a thing or two about grappling. That's not to say Pac couldn't get his shots off before that happens, but if he doesn't - he could get roughed up like a ragdoll. I don't get the feeling that Pac is physically strong like Hatton [although he's 10 times better than Hatton in most other ways].

Don't get me wrong though - I know Pac could take out much larger men despite his small size.

Boxers are from the streets... They grew up in the streets, I am sure they are familiar with street fighting.

How do you know how well those guys can fight? They might be superior to you for all I know. And don't even try to say that you're some skilled MMA street fighter because anybody talking like that over a computer is lying. You would get your ass handed to you by Mayweather or Pacquaio. End of....

Oh, boxing is still a great way to protect yourself. It's good because it's practical and it teaches people about timing and distance etc. Full contact sparring in any sport or martial art is a great way of letting your body get used to combat, both physically and mentally.

Unless Floyd runs like Usain Bolt, he's gonna be on ground even faster with the way he boxes.

With Manny, if he comes at me with a lot of punches from various angles, I could get knocked out right away. With Floyd, if he waits for me to come at him (like he usually does) I could devise a way to get him down on the ground.

Look, the average person would not wanna fight either guys, but the thread title is "who would you rather prefer," and if you want the least chance of getting knocked out, you'd go with Mayweather. That by no way means he's easy.
