        When Smith fought Crawford, I thought there was no way he was going to win. In the first two rounds it looked like a mismatch but Smith fought more professionally, prepared for the 12-round distance.

        Smith doesn't do anything spectacularly, but he's a tough, grizzled guy who has a firm sense of self and what he wants to do in the ring. He reminds me of Glen Johnson; it looks like he's doing nothing but then he knocks you out.

          I keep on saying it, this Kid Atwone Smith is real good & is slowly & quietly sneaking up & when nobody expects it, BAM!!! He's gonna be a world champ & with his skills & ability's he's going to be there for a while.....

            EXACTLY what I thought the first time I saw him. I think he may also be just a tad bit slicker than a prime Johnson as well. I hope the dude reads Boxingscene to know he's got some real fans out there.
