Lmbo!! the fight, itself, was also rather unacceptable. mayweather was so wary of de la hoya's damn left hook that he never really opened up his offense against such a hittable de la hoya.

after the fight, mayweather said he was thinking how has de la hoya beat so many guys when he doesn't move his head. with a little faith that he could take that odd shot, some flowing feints and mixing up of lead left hooks and right straights, he could have shown de la hoya his career was over right there.
