    Maidana/Collazo/Berto thread (Continued)

Quintana would box his ears off... Kotelnik already did it.

I'm unsure about Maidana's stamina in a 12 rounder, so I don't know how the Clottey fight would look, but I'd lean towards Clottey.

    Never seen Aydin.

    He'd kick Holt's ass.

He'd kick Zab's ass, because he moves forward and applies pressure.

    Never seen MIKE JONES.

I think Berto would outspeed him like he did to Urango.

    Overall... not well.

Andre never moved in and out with angles like Shane did, and he did not have as much Boxing IQ that Shane had when they were at the same stages in their career's. That's not to say that Andre won't continue to develop, but there is a gap there in ring IQ that most forget about when looking at the physical attributes of both fighters. Andre is catching up though, and by my guesstimation will surpass Shane in being able to think while in the ring.
I've never been super impressed by Berto's speed. Hell, I really haven't been impressed with anything about Berto, other than his sharpness against Quintana.

Yeah, Bradd with two D's deleted it I think.

It seemed factual enough to me, but... apparently the countless other useless threads in NSB are good enough to be kept around.

I've been watching Berto for quite some time. And I was impressed with his speed and how he used to put punches together. Berto is a damn good fighter. I think the Urango fight lost him some fans along with Collazo, but that was due to the hype around him. I remember watching him on ESPN as he was starting to gain the hype, so I can see how people are a little put off by him, but the kid is sharper than everybody is giving him credit for.

I think your overrating quintana, he doesnt have a chin anymore I think he would find some success until he gets KTFO, you gotta remember kotelnik probably has the best chin at 140(even better than paulies imo) and the fight between those 2 was close. I think berto beats him but not as easy as Urango, he possesses much better punching power and composure. All the others I pretty much agree with, I'm not particularly high on maidana I just thought that hes a big 140 pounder and could easily move to 147.
p.s. it sucks they closed the thread it was healthy harmless boxing talk.

Berto out muscled Urango, instead of outboxing him. I think thats why he lost some people with that particular performance. In all it made Devon's win over Urango that much greater;Devon should send Andre a complimentary Rolex for that there.

Yeah, I mean, the first time I saw him was against Estrada. He looked okay I guess, but just hasn't progressed much past that, other than this Quintana fight.
