Why request a 14 day cut off when...

We already know that the USADA will stop testing well before that if there is no need to. May/Mosley had an 18 day cut off, except the fighter didn't know about, keeping the integrity of the random blood testing. So again, why the need for a guaranteed window, if you're clean and every test up until 3 weeks before the fight supports this, there will be no need to continue testing, but the option will be there in case any anomalies come up in the urine tests. This really shouldn't be an issue, at least IMHO and I still don't understand why it keeps coming up.

What if after the 14 day cut off something strange is found in the levels of the urine tests, for either Mayweather or Pacquiao, they would not be able to do further tests after this point and someone might end up having an unfair advantage, completely defeating the purpose of the testing even taking place.

but if it's to avoid being at a disadvantage(blood drained, which i still don't believe such a thing exsists), why do you need to know when exactly, if there will be a cut off date regardless. It says it all in the sig, i think the USADA understands that there should be a window of no tests before the fight, but it should be them who choses it, not any of the fighters being tested.

The major issue that's holding this fight back, is a possiblity, however small, of there being tests after 14 days, which according to the USADA is very unlikely unless something suspect comes up.

anyway, to answer the TS:

the 50/50 and 14 day cut off offer was before floyd fought mosley, after floyd fought mosley and did more pay per views than pacquiao's highest bob arum changed his tune and wanted to accept a previous offer that wasnt valid anymore because floyd after beating mosley had leverage on negotiations.

the point is 14 days is NOT RANDOM, it kills the whole point of random testing, pacquiao and his team would know when the testing would stop so how is that random? Mosley's tests were random and Mosley and Floyd didnt know when USADA will stop testing them, so i think the fight can be 50/50 even though floyd has the leverage and is the bigger pay per view draw based on the numbers, but no cut off dates. Random is Random, it makes pacquiao team look su****ious if they are demanding cut off dates, as if they want to know when the testing stops so they can use masking agents and chemicals that can keep PED's undetected.

After floyd say if mosley can do it why the hell cant pacquiao? again random is random, floyd went through the whole system and saw this aint no rocket science take the damn tests
