chavez frazier yes ... TYSON NO tyson had speed . head movement like crazy and punch from all angles imaginable so he wasnt as predictable as the other 2
Predictable in the sense that you know they're going to come forward and attack you. But I don't think their methods have to be any more predictable than those of a defensive fighter. Frankly you can probably predict how most boxers will approach a fight from watching their tapes, it's the stopping them from doing what they wanna do that's the hard part.
Who when asked about tyson being predicatble said so is a Hurricane but what the hell you going to do when it comes at you.
The same applies here, Jake Lamotta was an agressive come forward fighter who beat SRR and had several close fights with him. Even the best fighter in the history of the sport had trouble dealing with a so called 'predictable fighter'.
It irks the hell out of me when people think in-fighters and pressure fighters are only skill-less brawlers. Those people understand very little about the science of fighting IMO.
Well here is the thing, being one dimensional does not equate to, easy to negate.
I think C.Ronaldo is one dimensional, in terms of, he is not particularly great at dribbling, not a particularly amazingly skilled individual, but he is an exceptional athelete with great pace and power, he is not going to dribble the ball past you like a Robben, a Messi, he is more likely to push the ball past you and beat you in a foot race, however he is still extremely hard to negate.
Look at Messi, he is one footed, as much as people will argue how great he is, fact is, he is a one footed player, same as Robben, now you might not call them one dimensional, but the are aspects to there game that are not complete, like a Zidane who was had a left & right foot.
