Is it just me? Or has the world gone crazy?

A few days ago I was at a bookstore..

Then I just went to the magazine section, then I go to the sports section, they have loads of magazines and imagined for there to be at least like 5 different boxing magazines..

Well I keep searching and I see like 4 magazines on golf and 5 on bicycle riding etc.

    I find zero boxing magazines!

Is it me or has the world just gone crazy? Do more people follow golf and bowling than boxing?

no you are just in canada. fight sports in canada have never been as popular as they are in the us.

if i remember correct like a day ago u said u were in north van.(i love north van)

and the truth is, a boxing magazine just wont sell because many people who are diehard fans wont buy it, and the diehard fans already subscribe to ring magazine, thats pretty much the only thing they need.

other smart boxing fans just get on the net..

The Ring is the main magazine I see whenever I happen to see a boxing mag. The only other magazine I remember seeing in any store recently was Boxing Digest, which hell I could get an article in that if I wanted. The Internet is definitely the strongest place for the boxing community.

Yah, I'm in Canada and I don't think I've ever seen a boxing magazine in my entire life. I've never read the Ring magazine before. Never seen a store that carried it, or any other boxing magazine. Boxing isn't a very big sport in Canada. Big tough kids don't go into boxing gyms in Canada ... the throw on some skates and beat the crap out of eachother in the hockey arena.

Edit: There's some hockey league in Quebec called the LNAH or something, and Donald Brashear, formerly of the Flyers plays in it now. He plays for the Chiefs, named after the team from Slapshot. I heard this league is basically a brawl at every single game. I suppose that's why boxing isn't really popular here.

Boxing mags are severely over priced and are usually as thin as Lindsay Lohan.
