Define hate,....

As for me, I'll give u a lil bit of my Pac history.
1. Haven't missed a fight of his since EM 1.
2. Always loved watching the guy, very exciting fighter.
3. Only bet against him on the EM 2 fight, every other fight I bet on Pac.
4. Was hyped to see him move up and fight Diaz 135, amazed at the win also.
5. In awwe of the Hatton death blow, still am really.
6. Damn near shyt my pants when he beat cotto, still wiping my ass from that one.

7. Did not understand/buy/agree with any of the excuses for not taking the test.
8. I have my doubts Manny is clean because of his refusal.

So would you say I hate Manny?

i dont hate pac or any fighter, but all fight fans have a right to their opinion. if u think a certain fighter is overrated u are entitled to say so. not giving pac any credit and pretending like he isnt a great fighter is wrong, but if u think clottey for example is a highly average fighter, which i happen to think myself. u shouldnt be forced to pretend like pac just slayed a monster.

as for your comment saying it doesnt matter if an oponent is shot as long as its a good fight, thats ******ed. to be a great fighter u need to fight great oponents, beating washed up fighters dont do that and if a fighter does u shouldnt give him too much credit for it. being entertaining and being good is two diffrent things.

this isnt directed strictly at pacquiao, it goes for any fighter. if u want to discuss diffrent fighters p4p status and place in history u have to critic their wins.

no big deal. as a paying audience, we all have the right to discuss who is a greater boxer. but still, a credit is a credit. eg if pac fight old dlh, it is his promoter/matchmaker to blame not him...his job is to do his task. against cotto, it is the TEAM's consensus to fight in z certain weight...and pac just did his job in the ring...

but still, the thing is...we all have the right to say what if.

Hate? No. I do not really respect him, though. He has been largely shown to be unfaithful to his wife (which is sad because I think she genuinely cares for him...but he could just be her meal ticket), his 'nice guy' image is suspect to me when he 'won't budge' on certain financial details in his contracts and of course there is the steady refusal to agree to OST.

Now, I think I would be tempted to thumb my nose at someone in contract negotiations if that person had accused me of doing something illegal which I had not done. Yet, the onus would also be on me to prove that person wrong. So I would make him wait, select another opponent and do a full OST...win the bout then come back to fight my accuser. It just seems to be more about pride than principle, here.

I think Manny is probably a nice guy, but I think his nice guy image is a facade. I would rather he just be a bit more honest with himself and us.

hardly. *****s arent organized like a cult. they are a bunch of *************** loners that think floyds better than pac but not everybody that ever boxed. and most *****s like boxers besides pac that fight similarly to floyd like andre ward and to a lesser extent timothy bradley. they dont get their panties in a bunch when somebody disagrees with them. and lastly *****s arent worse than raiders fans but *******s are.

Ward and Bradley ain't fight like Floyd at all.

i was a real big fan of manny. but his diehard fans is what i hate. and also manny when he fights im a fan of but he is made out to be an angel and i hate how ppl critisize and hate on floyd and other fights when manny is made out to be perfect when he is not. i enjoy the hell out of manny fights and respect the guy so much. but he is a product of great match making and timing and hard work and i call it like it is.

how is he phony? he respects everyone, never has a bad word to say. Look at How much charity he does for his people.
