He's been "aksing" Berto for a rematch since that fight.

Where's Berto at? I know. Fighting 140 pounders. How can you defend this **** man.

Right and Berto doesn't have to give him one which is why he should be looking for other fights. Quintana wasn't a 140 pounder. That was his last fight in case you missed it. How could you defend Edwin Valero's weak competition? Who did he fight as good as Quintana or Collazo?

I would much rather see Berto/Mosley, Berto/Cotto or even Berto/Mayweather. Overall, this has been a crappy year for boxing (the only exceptions being Mayweather/Mosley and the Super 6 tournament). If they make Berto/Mike Jones, it will simply contributed to what already looks like one of the crappiest years in recent history.

It would be good for Jones to win this fight because with him being a Philadelphia fighter it would be good for American boxing on top of the fact Berto is a dud and he's overpaid by HBO. I'm all for this fight. And Jones is a legit challenge for Berto. No more blown up or weight drained has beens for Berto to fight.

Jones might be a better physical specimen, but he's lacking in more than a few areas.

Jones doesn't deserve a title shot yet, but the reality is that there are few at 147 that do.
Berto is very clumsy and has extremely poor timing, almost like he is trying to be hit while Mike Jones is clearly well schooled and seems to me to have excellent technique.

lolz @ Jones not deserving a title shot when referencing a fight with Berto who apparently had a fantastic resume when he beat; insert random club fighter for a vacant title.

I would like to see Jones beat Garcia convincingly and then beat Antwon Smith.
But I wouldn't mind seeing this fight.
Thing that pisses me off about Berto and fighters of today and fighters like him, is that how do they expect to get known or build a fanbase like Pac or Floyd, if they never fight and never take big challenges. It just seems like they wanna be rushed into the limelight when they barely fight after they get a belt or have one showing on HBO. I dunno **** pisses me off. Why not still try to make Berto Mosely. What's wrong with that? Just because Mosely lost or something?
Don't get me wrong Mike Jones is my boy and I'd be happy if they fought but they could be doing things so much better all around in promoting boxing and such.

i would love to see this fight but seriously Mike Jones hasn't fought anyone yet! why do people think he is going to walkthrough Berto! I agree that Berto is a tad overrated but he's eperienced and has some of the fastest hands in boxing. If the fight does happen i would put strong money on Berto to come away with it. I see Jones getting outboxed and hit by Berto with a late round towel coming in (with Arthur Mercante Jr not the referee) to stop the fight.

but this fight would never happen anyway
