@Boxerdood... Although Clottey did well against Berto, after his last dismal preformance against Pacquiao (not that he lost, but the fact he mailed it in from the start), Clottey doesn't deserve another chance right off the bat. He belongs on Versus or ESPN2, not on a major network. After that kind of performance, I could care less if I ever see him again...

nah bruh... if berto can kick clottey's ass worse than pac, then that boosts berto's credentials.

I guess team berto isn't too confident they can beat up clottey.

This should be a great fight for Jones, he is almost 3 inches taller then berto and with his jab he should be able to at least box to a boring decision, which hopefully doesnt happen and there is a stoppage.

But, the most interesting thing will be how Mike Jones handles big time speed. If he doesnt get to flustered by it then he should be able to win.

[QUOTE=BIGPOPPAPUMP;8771698]Rising welterweight contender Mike Jones (21-0, 17 KOs) returns on Friday against veteran Irving Garcia at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. The fight will be televised by Showtime as part of their ShoBox series. A win could open up a door for a potential fall title shot.

Antwone "The Truth" Smith would beat Mike Jones and Andre Berto. He's a more complete fighter than Jones right now.

I think Jones is too green at this point.

Give him two or three more developmental fights and I'd make him a solid favorite.
