Cotto v Pacman 2: Changing the landscape

I recognize that the first fight was only competitive for about 5-6 rounds...however, in the event that Cotto comes out victorious, whether by TKO/KO or UD...how does the fight game change? Nobody is considering the results of Cotto winning, regardless of the slim chances which we all recognize. Pacquaio will be too fast for him at any weight...but boxing is all about the unexpected happening...I mean Cintron was giving P.Williams the business before leaping out of the burning building...so back on topic...how does boxing in the short term change? Pac/May would be destroyed...wouldn't it?

Obviously...a trilogy is certainly viable. Pac/Cotto 3 will have to happen

Pac/JMM 3 becomes more attractive seeing as Pac would be coming off a loss and needing a big win.

Margarito/Cotto 2...Does Arum risk Cotto's rise back on top like he did in 2008? Seeing how he's shown little regard for Cotto the last two years, whether having to do w/ Cotto's side dealings or what...it seems interesting.

Would Floyd/Pac happen? Would Floyd really chase Pac after being beaten?

Floyd/Cotto...this fight had the basis of a modern classic in 2008 before the Margarito/Cotto fight...would this fight in 2010 with Floyd coming off a big win over SSM and Cotto taking out the P4P king make this again an irresistible fight for fans?

Floyd/Martinez...Floyd covets the WBC belt...Sergio has the belt and the lineage and a marvelous win...does Floyd go for greatness and tackle his biggest challenge? Assuming he doesn't want to fight Cotto because whatever reasons...Floyd says he doesn't fight for belts or legacy, just money...which make me question Floyd/Martinez @ 160...since Cotto will bring the money...

Cotto/DLH...before you all say anything...remember...this was SUPPOSED to be the marquee fight instead of Pac/DLH...it all went downhill after Cotto lost...would DLH make one last appearance in a healthier form (154) and go out fighting instead of his stool unable to throw a punch? Cotto fights at a methodical pace that he wishes to control, that I think even at this stage, DLH would be comfortable with...

So I ask fellow BSers...where does the game go in regards with the top players? If Cotto prevails...where do the pieces fall?

    No trolling...please

Their first fight wasn't competitive past the first round, Cotto won one round at most. Obviously you are a Cotto fan, and I don't mean to disrespect you or him, but there is simply no chance whatsoever of Miguel winning a rematch or even making it interesting.

Boxing is not a sport of absolutes...

Cotto may have only a slim chance to win, but to say he has no chance to win is a bit over the top. He's a world class fighter, so I wouldn't discount him out of any fight. I wouldn't favor Cotto against Pac or May, but I wouldn't discount him either.

Death and taxes are the only sure things in life. And yes, I like Cotto a great deal. I'm a big fan of all three to be exact.

Also in my original post I meant to add SSM...but I thought he was done way before Floyd put the nail in the coffin...however in the (slim) event he beats Sergio Mora in Sept...he's back to being a key player
