Margarito have no right to fight again. He is a criminal! He puts his opponent in danger by loading up his gloves! He should be in jail! As for Pacquiao, why the hell would he want to fight Cotto again, when there are opponents like Berto, Alexander, Bradley and Maidana who are willing to fight him!

The guy deserves a chance to appeal and make his case, that is the American way! But, should he get his license back, probably not....

He served no time. People serve time in prison. chito did not. He be doing so, though.

did i miss something or is there still NO PROOF that he actually cheated against Cotto...he may have attempted the load the gloves against Mosley but didnt ever walk into the ring with them on. i say margarito deserves another shot, he put an ass whoopin on an undefeated cotto...pac showed cotto cant handle mad pressure. lets see it for what it is we got a man who attempted to cheat but didnt actually do it, he deserved some time off...he comepleted his sentence. give the man his lisence back, let the man fight.
that being said me personally, i would like to see him in the ring with Alfredo Angulo at 154...that would make for a barnburner possiblt FOTY, a WAR.

Attempted murder, armed robbery or theft are crimes irrespective of the agent's inability to execute the intent.

No, I am not suggesting that chito was attempting to murder anyone. I am suggesting that his flagrant disregard for the safety of another is worthy of criminal prosecution and detention. However, *I* did not mention Cotto this time. Even based on only things proven, the man should be/have been in prison.

He was probably scared of the "tools" Margacheato possessed. He was scared of the damage Margacheato was inflicted on people, he saw that a guy who can almost tear another person's ear off could really hurt him, so he avoided that. And damn was he right, what a great decision to avoid him or else we all know he would of been destroyed by the plaster master. His reluctance to fight real threats skills saved his career and health and all I can say is his decision was the best decision he took in his whole boxing career.

Margarito: "Aye, commissioner. Let's get this straight, now. I never plastered anybody over in my life that didn't have it coming to him, you got that? All I have in this world is my balls and my word, and I don't break'em for no one. You understand? That peace of chit Capetillo -- I never like him -- I never trusted him. For all I know, he had me set up and got my friend Shane Mosley almost killed. But that's history. I'm here, he's not. You wanna give me my license back, just say so. If not, you make a move.”
