thanks for you OPINION. I disagree

I dont mind Berto vs. Pac at all when compared to a Cotto at 150 fight.
pac/cotto 2 is beating a dead horse. I prefer pac/berto. but pac can't resist getting his 8th title.

I see a lot of people hating on Pacquiao-Cotto II since it was mooted, but I think, despite how badly Cotto suffered first time out, that there's an intrigue level still in the fight...first, there's the factor of real camp and corner guidance for the first time in Cotto's career...which could tell in making a rematch more competetive when you bear in mind that Cotto was able to hang with Pac in the moments of rounds 1-4 where he chose to box him instead of **** with him (the moments where he foolishly elected to exchange firepower in those early rounds quickly took their toll)...and then you have that Cotto is apparently so set on avenging it (he's been much less forthcoming about a rematch with Margarito since the whole 'cheat' furore that sparked up 18 months back).

Those things put together just about justify it as a compelling fight in my mind, if that better fight involving Pacquiao can't be made. I'd accept a 150 catchweight only if it was non-title. A non-title bout would actually be more fitting from my POV, as the appeal to me is more about their personal business than a title - Cotto striving for redemption and to correct perceived mistakes in the first fight, and Pacquiao looking to drive home that the asskicking wasn't down to weight-drain or poor preparation or bad strategy in the opposite camp.

Pacquiao-Margarito I don't want to see because Margarito doesn't deserve to just walk into a fight of that magnitude. Even if he or his Team only attempted to cheat in that one fight, his name is synonymous with disgrace and he needs to earn his way back up to a fight like that.

            No, it wasn't.

Cotto's mental issues. Like going into exchanges with a faster guy, underestimating his power, his damn lateral movement (which makes him tire)...

But those are tactical decisions. It is not because lack of talent. He has the abilities to make it a competitive fight.

I would buy a PPV, no catchweights.

Pac might as well fight Hatton again. Actually David Diaz would be better, since he's one of Arum's fighters. I also heard Clottey doesn't have a fight lined up either. So maybe.

Cotto lost the second round 10-8. I wouldn't call a 10-8 round competitive. A 10-8 round is not good for the one who suffered the KD.

                Sure he will.

Cotto lost the second round 10-9. And some people think he won the round(I'm not one of them).

The 3rd round was when he got knocked down. And only one judge scored that round 10-8....the other two scored it 10-9.

I'm not in favor of this fight....just setting **** straight.

I thought it was a competitive fight until the second knockdown, after that Cotto stopped trying, I don't blame him though, he had absolutely no technical advice from his corner...the rematch may be alot better, not saying Cotto will win but he may do a hell of alot better now that he has a knowledgeable trainer.
