A boxing game without flash knockdowns is no realistic boxing game! Fight Night 4 is a good game, round 3 is not, that game is arcade as ****. If you get countered perfectly by a big puncher of course chances are great that you get knocked down.

I like 4 myself, but I think it was a step down from 3. The graphics in 4 are better and they had the right idea with the physics, unfortunately the physics ended up limiting the game to favor running, counter punchers. It's funny how your opponent can counter and duck a punch you never even threw, lol. And, your opponent can "duck" a body punch exactly like a head shot, counter you, and score a flash kd.

Also, the flash knockdown seems way too random. 4 has no taunts and u can't see your opponents hud or record. (I would rather not play against someone with an 1600 W-1 L type record or a loser with an 0 w-1600 L record.)

I think they shouldnt change round 5 way to much, what sucks is the career mode though, thats something they should work on, add some press conferences, trash talk, rivalies ect.

The career trianing mode is bollox, I pretty much clocked the game but its a whole new level with custom boxers. all you need is to make the perfect custom boxer and even if you are fighting a good player, without the right custom boxer for him to use, you will win every time

I think the fighting system is at around 85 percent perfect. the training in the career mode is bollox and they should change the way it works. The weights also matter a lot, the fact there are so few 140 fighters pisses me off.

Someone they gotta get the real pacman version in the game, the current one is dog bollox, if ali is 91, pac should be 90 and so much different in the game

i certainly think its the best boxing game out ever tho

They were probably referring to FNR4.

FNR5 hasn't even been announced yet. The devs said FNR is a series which doesn't need a yearly update and that they expect each Fight Night to span around 3 years before a new version is needed. Given FNR4 came out in June 09 I'd expect the next one to be out around spring 2012, maybe winter 2011 at the earliest.

damn.. im still playing FNR4. i hope they dont change it too much, dont get me wrong there are several things that can be improved. but it would really suck if they went back and did another ******ed game like FNR3, that game was terrible by comparison.
