So Bradley will go 6 months between fights. Is this what Gary Shaw was talking about when he said he wanted to build up this fight?

i think it has to do with HBO having more money available. if they do it at the end of the year there may not be a lot of money left. a new year means a new budget

So 1 of the top 5 fights in boxing is made and people are complaining because it's in 6-7 months away from their next fight?

Bradley and Alexander aren't fighting bums, they are fighting top 2 Jr. Welterweights and top 20 P4P fighters (each other). Bradley should've never taken 7-8 months in between Peterson and Abregu, but this is not a move that should be criticized.

HBO probably doesn't even want to spend this year's budget money on it. Not only that, but they've probably exhausted all of their non-GBP dates this year or are planning on saving them for another fight (Martinez-Williams, etc.).

hahaha didn't I tell the haters this fight was gonna happen? Although I think January is too early. Bradley should fight again in November and Devon should fight in January, and then they meet up in like April 2011. I really want this fight to be big, and I don't think Abregu and Kotelnik are gonna get them too far.

But if Bradley were to fight Maidana and Alexander fought Peterson or Judah, it would get as much as its possibly gonna get at this point. I know people say Judah doesn't deserve a title shot and he probably doesn't, but its not like he's actually gonna beat Alexander. He would just be a good build up/name on his resume and its not like Judah sucks either. And I think that fight could do 10,000 in the Lou.

I hope these two arent overlooking the formidable opponents they have lined up already in the form of Kotelink and Abregu. We all saw that happen last year with Jones Jr vs Danny Green>Bernard Hopkins.
