It was reported over BBC Sport Radio that Amir Khan's hospitalization for a mystery illness has been grossly exaggerated. Khan was feeling weak on Sunday at his home in Bolton and as precautionary measure he went to Beaumont Hospital to undergo some tests. One of the radio hosts believed it to be a case of overworking his body or a minor cold. Khan is reportedly back home and getting himself ready for more World Cup action, although some reports had the WBA junior welterweight champion near death.

Khan forgot to tuck his chin in as he stepped out of his flat this morning and he was floored for the count by a stiff breeze.

He tried to rise but his legs gave out and he fell again, busting his face on the bottom step.

All the King's Horses and all the King's Men soon came and put Humpty Khanny back together again. The glass jaw took several hours as it was shattered quite badly but they think Amir should be ready in time for his next WBO Title defense against "anyone who can't punch."
