Andre Ward Speaking about Victor Conte and Steroid Testing

Listen to the whole interview. Also, if someone has the link to where it was reported that he fired Conte, please post it.

Ward represents himself well. However, he should be equally open to any tougher testing. To me, that's where it's at. If he's willing to do that then I can't really say anything. You know what you're getting when dealing with Conte so if you want to put yourself out there and work with him, then you better be prepared for the scrutiny.

I think he should be against testing as any fighter should.

PEDS don't give people skills, heart, or determination.

Otherwise we'd have a bunch of bodybuilder champs.

He should make a stand against testing and for the legalization of performance enhanching drugs and their benefits.

p.s.. i doubt he's using anything at all.

I never read that Ward fired him, but in this article, Conte says he's no longer working with him.

I remember this was posted in a thread on here.

And I agree. Based on his comments, he is all for the more stringent and better testing. Just working with Conte and his history, I see how he looks su****ious.

            Are you high?

Brady Anderson would like a word with you.

Good for him. Cuz I'm sure half of his opponents were juicing anyway

I am tired of these pusscakes overrating the benefits of peds and acting like they can make a fighter a completely different fighter.

                I don't want a police state.

                It's fighting, not tiddlywinks.

If he was juicing, he would not need to rely on leaning on opponents and leading with his head like he does.

How exactly do you overrate steroids? If it can turn a guy who hits 18 homers into a guy who hits 50? A guy who hits 40 into one who hits 70? So what do you think it can do for a boxer? I'm glad to know you could give two ****s but some fighters - and fans do. And any fighter who gets his face and bashed in for a living has a right to be concerned if he's not taking.
