Perhaps but there is one major difference between those two and that being Kirkland has a ton more heart. Lacy gets popped he fades, but when James gets hit(and he has been rocked by much harder punchers than Lacy ever did), he swings and goes into killer mode. James would lose to Martinez but James is also still green and not ready for that kind of athlete. He is still really good and saying he is Lacy would be a bit crazy.

Yeah people undrestimate this man's heart..he's one of those fighters that would give it all in the ring.. doesn't fold when it gets tough.

I hope he's able to stay clean when he gets out but i know that he won't be the same if GBP does move him to cali and gets him a new trainer.. the way he fought was because of east austin with pops and anne

You know your right about that.

Still Kirkland though 1D like PWill and other fighters with similar styles to that are entertaining, boxing needs guys like that even if they are prone to an inevitable schooling now and again.

If you want a good PPV undercard throw this guy on there instead of guys like Juarez, Linares, and Casa. But the problem is if you put him on PPV undercards instead of televised events, it stunts his popularity.
