If you include wins in the way you are ranking then yeah he could be but if not you could really have him or Ward even at #1.

First off, let me start by saying I am not a Williams hater. He is a great fighter. He fought a BRILLIANT fight against Wright. I just think Martinez beat him.

I also do my own thinking. 119-110 for Williams smells fishy to me. I could accept a 115-113 for Williams, since it was a close fight. But 119-110 Williams tells me there was no way short of multiple knockdowns or a KO Martinez was getting out of there with his hand raised.

I think Williams deserves to be #3 now. But I also think that Ward is probably the third best fighter right now. If he runs the table in the Super Six and Floyd/Manny finally fight, he'll be in the top two in every P4P listing.

Wlad has an extremely compelling case to be P4P #3.

He has faced and beaten everyone in dominant fashion and hasn't lost in 6 years.

Normally this is the type of guy you have at #1, but he's a heavyweight so he gets less respect.
