Don't understand how someone as talented as Camacho got beat by Haugen.

Finally got down to seeing it, bout to watch the rewatch in a bit. For all the Camacho fans out there, how frustrating was it to be a fan? Haugen was the smaller guy, Camacho looked a lot more solid at the weight and he was afraid to go in. Hopefully the rematch was more entertaining

What did anyone else think about this fight?

At the time it happened my first thought was that the night life caught up with Camacho. Haugan was an alright fighter and always came to fight but Camacho should have been on another level.

I see a few differences so far in the rematch. He isn't moving around as much and he's actually steppin' in with the jab, where as in the 1st fight he'd throw the jab even if he was out of range.

What happened was he seemed to switch off and go defensive in the last 2/3 rounds, but the most vital part of why he lost, was that he hit Haugen on the broke in the last round, or the 11th, cant remember, and had a point taken, Haugen celebrated the deduction like he just won the lottery Lol, in all fairness i still did not have Haugen winning, had it a draw with the point taken.

I couldn't give it to Camacho, he didn't really do much. So many instances where he doesn't punch, and although Haugen isn't able to exploit that, he's still the aggressor. So that has to atleast count for something. In the bold, I remember that, it was in the 12th round.

Yeah I heard another poster mention this. I look at some of Camacho's earlier stuff, and don't see Haugen fuckin' with him. Guess that could have been it.
