Comments Thread For: Abraham-Froch Won't Need Judges, Says Sauerland

Speaking with Sportal.de, promoter Kalle Sauerland of Sauerland Event, discussed Arthur Abraham's upcoming fall fight with Carl Froch in the third stage of the Super Six Boxing Classic. There are still continued negotiations for the venue location. Both fighters refuse to give up the homefield advantage. Sauerland predicts the fight will be even more explosive than Froch's recent fight with Mikkel Kessler.

If Sauerland is so confident then why not fight Froch in England where he agreed to initially?

True that. Sauerland is a slippery c*nt; you only need to look at the recent Sylvester fight for proof.

just get the damned fight agreed already!!!!!!

P.S. And what championship is this for as Sauerland stated? Whatever he's smoking I want some.

Sauerlands have already been embarrassed in both of their fights in which their fighter traveled.

They are just apprehensive about doing it again after blowing 2 fights which they considered "sure things".

Actually, this a piece of dumb journalism.

The interview was on sportal.de on the 18th. June. So its almost three weeks old. A lot of things have surely happened in the negotiations since then.

Sauerland is right. No judges are needed. AA will KO this prick.

This fight won't last 12 for sure, I can't believe I'm rooting for Froch for this one.

Saeurland is such a cunt. If your boy is gonna stop Froch inside the distance, why not do it in front of his homecrowd in Nottingham? Seriously though, both camps know that the opposition presents problems for their man, so neither team wants the risk of one fighter getting homefield advantage. Neutral venue is the right choice, and i believe this is going the full 12. Froch UD.
