i think espn is picking this fight up so it's decent for an espn fight. pavlik is a drunk and is in no shape to fight. steiglitz is on the sven ottke program so he's a no go. allan green is allan green so he's not an option. bute can fight dirrell in early 2011 after he loses to ward since he will lose the tiebreaker to froch and froch will actually make the semis lol. or dawson if johnson beats cloud.

imo all better than Brinkley

Stieglitz turned down an offer to fight Bute this summer and it's extremely unlikely Pavlik would fight Bute immediately after the Martinez fight. Geale is a decent fighter, but it's much more logical for Bute to go ahead and fight Brinkley, who is a mandatory, so when a suitable opponent becomes available he's not bogged down by mandatory commitments.

ESPN is showing Bute?? I know he will clown this guy but I did not know he could fight on ESPN if he had a contract with HBO....I don't really know how that contract stuff works though. I'll watch it regardless, Bute is a good boxer
