          During one of Terry Norris's fights, Steve Albert commented that Norris said he was bench pressing over 300.

            they say SSM benches (or has benched) over 290....pretty damn good for a guy walks around at 70-75kg. I can bench 300, but i weigh 205 pounds. Friend of mine who is the same height, looks smaller and weighs 200 pounds (in your scale) can bench 330 pounds max....very good natural strength, but he trains very very hard.

              every boxer lifts weights


              they dont lift weights to get "STRONGER" per say but to train.



              Nothing bad with lifting weights as a boxer

                Of course they lift weight to get stronger. They don't lift to look like bodybuilders though. Don't tell me that lifting weights or kettlebells are bad in any way!!!!!

                  actually i've heard he can bench 350 and squat like 500. don't remember where i heard it tho.
