That was a great fight. I remember Evander got slammed by the press for getting rocked by Cooper. All of those fights during his first title reign were great, even the Foreman one.

Cooper actually won a fight a few weeks ago.

I have respect for Bert Cooper when he knocked out Richie Melito jr after hearing that he was going to take a dive in that fight.

Melito's management was later convicted of fixing fights but Cooper was having none of it.

This was a good fight.

I didn't know Cooper was still fighting. I just checked boxrec and see that he ended an 8 year retirement.

He's one of my all time favorites, I cringe when I watch that Holyfield-Cooper fight. I don't think Evander could have missed with an uppercut if he was drunk and blind.

This was a far more competitive fight than is represented by this clip. Cooper rocked Holyfield several times. Considering he was fighting the'Real Deal' in his prime and in his own backyard ,you gotta' give 'Smokin' Bert alot of credit for this performance. Was a great fight.
