I love how people say Caballero should accepts peanuts. What a joke. He made more from Yordan than Gamboa even tried to offer.

JuanMa's team didn't even try to negotiate and neither did Gamboas.

That is all on record too.

He's been everywhere fought everywhere and makes no bones about who he wants to fight.

The best fighters. No bull**** involved.

Ofcourse not. Juanma fighting Mtagwa and Concepcion were/are pointless fights.

I dont like this Concepcion fight at all, but atleast Concepcion is a top 10-15 FW, Mtagwa was not even a top 20 SBW.


Im just hoping that after Rafa, Juanma fights Caballero. and I dont blame Juanma for taking the Rafa fight because Juanma has been calling him out since forever and second it gives Juanma more exposure in the west Coast and the Mexican fans, plus a big money fight.

Honestly, I think all these fights will happen eventually. It's just that they will happen when Bob Arum thinks they will make him the most money. You really can't stress enough how much of a business this sport is. Yes, every sport is a business, but boxing is possibly one of the sports that suffers the most because of the business side. It basically exists only insofar as it makes business sense for promoters. Bob Arum has to know that the longer Caballero keeps calling out both Gamboa and Lopez, the more name-recognition he'll get. In Lopez's case specifically, there will come a point when PR fans will be willing to shell out the 50 bucks to see Lopez shut Caballero up (if he can, which I think he can).

It's all really annoying, but unfortunately that's how the sport works. If there is no overhaul, no reform, that's what we are stuck with unless we stop buying these ***** ass tomato can fights and just plain and simple boycott until we get the fights we want to see.

Why is it that they keep fighting guys with less than 50% KO ratios? Like the guy Lopez just fought in Luevano and is getting ready to fight with Concepcion? And Cotto against Foreman? Martinez against Burns who has like only 5 KOs out of twenty something fights? The guy Vasquez Jr just fought doesn't have any pop. What's the deal here?

Caballero is in the strangest position in Boxing. I think he's the most avoided guy...that can probably get beaten by more than a few fighters. It doesn't make any sense. What is taking so long in getting this guy a big fight?

he has a good one, but not even close to what he should have. i mean, isn't this the guy that keeps saying that he's better than SRR, SRL, ali, etc? he doesn't even have the best resume of the current active fighters, not even close
