The whole Pac-Floyd thing is a waste of time. Just beating a dead horse. Looks like GBP realizes it. But there's no point to pursuing this rematch anymore. Pac has nothing to prove against JMM anyway. JMM can't beat Pac at this stage.

Nice post. Unfortuneatly a great number of the posters here ilke hype instead of good analysis. It is waste of your time trying to explain the sport of boxing to fanatics that see any argument only through Pacquiao rose colored glasses.

i mean, floyd says one thing then contridicts himself, what tf? another example of floyd contridicting statement: i wanna make sure we are fighting on even grounds....tsk, tsk, tks...you floyd want to fight on even grounds? if thats the case, then why did you go above the agreed weight against marquez and rather pay off the weight penalty? ON EVEN GROUNDS HUH FLOYD? M/A!!!

You see, If the negotiation is not ******ed like floyd, Manny would've sign the contract 30 years ago. Ppl are so blind and believe everything geyweather say. even 55/45 for floyd, manny I believe would still take that. Mayweather is just scared like a fried chicken ready to be eaten.

I wouldn't be surprise if some ***get replies back with"well if pac is not on ped why not take the test" or "well pacquiao ask for 10 mil penalty if you pass the weight limit." We all know the reason to this don't be blind..

Floyd killed that fight last fall
JMM struggled to get his wins at 135
he just can't chase Pac anymore
              Pac will kill him now
Marquez is garbage at 140 as it is, and Pacs team said they're not going back to 140. So what? A 144 catch weight like Mayweather-Marquez? It would play out just how that fight went, only with a knockout.

wft? the only thing that jmm proved to manny was that his style can get close and be competitive with pac before...beat him you say? nope, look at the record it says there a DRAW(scoring error from the judge) and a WIN for PAC...

Arum is believed to have been speaking directly with Al Haymon, Mayweather’s adviser and de facto manager, in an effort to close the deal (pac-floyd).

According to promoter Bob Arum, all major items have been agreed to for a potential fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr.

hmmm...looks like gbp is being ease out of the pac-floyd negotiations.

Please do not compare him to Floyd. Marquez has been never been a known name till he fought Pacuiao the second time around. It was Barrera and Morales that were better known. Thats Fact!!!
