One person who deserves to be in the International Hall Of Fame is Wilfredo Vazquez Sr.(who got cheated out this year) Vazquez Sr. ended his career with a record of 56-9-2 & 41KO's out of that 21 were world title fights(In world title fights he was 17-4)..Vazquez won the WBA world title in three divisions(Bantam, Super Bantam & Featherweight) & out of his 21 world title fights, 20 WERE IN HIS OPPONENTS COUNTRY, STATE OR AT A NEUTRAL SITE & THE ONLY TIME HE HAD A WORLD TITLE FIGHT IN HIS HOME COUNTRY(Puerto Rico) HE LOST BY DECISION(that was in his 15th world title fight) ...

Yet Orlando Canizales who ended his career with a record of 50-5-1 & 37KO's was inducted this year & even thou he had 18 world titles fights(he was 16-1-1NC in world title fights) he was only a 1 division(Bantam) IBF world champion & IRONICALLY LOST TO VAZQUEZ(by decision in his home state, Texas) WHEN HE TRIED TO GO UP IN WEIGHT TO CHALLENGE VAZQUEZ FOR HIS SUPER BANTAM WBA WORLD TITLE!!!!!

Although I agree that Vazquez was the lineal champion, that cyberboxingzone page is crazy - it claims Pacquiao is still the Featherweight champion, a weight he last fought at in 2004!

That page is a lot less out of date than the other one, but it's still pretty out of date - Mosley, Pavlik, Israel Vazquez and Daisuke Naito are all still listed as lineal champs, as well as Erdei.

For that matter He cannot be The lineal champion...& just because this Cyber Boxing zone website mentions his name among other champions does not make him the main man at that weight class at the time he challenged Hamed(who was THE CHAMPION WHEN THEY FOUGHT) & if this Cyber Boxing knows so much, ¿Where do they leave the other featherweight champions like Wilfredo Gomez or Azuma Nelson? The lineage ran through Vasquez if one thinks Pedroza was rightfully the lineal champion after Sanchez died (he was; Ring recognized it as such back then as well: http://boxrec.com/media/index.php/Th..._Ratings:_1984). With split titles, one can take what they want from that. Doesn't always mean the lineal guy was the best guy but it simply was the case.

Regardless, Hamed beat Vasquez fresh off the strip and every other org's reigning titlist at some point to further validate his standing as the lineal champ. It's a firm line between Pedroza and Pacquiao ultimately vacating.

the quality in that division at the time was one of the hottest weight classes to go round
to say he should have to wait is a joke...
he never made anyone wait for a shot at a title so y should he be victimised..

In a system where only three people are allowed in at a time in the IBHOF, if he's not one of the three best on the ballot (and that would be for each voter to decide), it's not a punishment.
