He had Froch by 3 points over Dirrell, and Kessler 8 rounds to 4 over Froch. Those are the only 2 World Title fights he has ever done (men anyway) and he butchered them both.

I consider him one of the worst homer judges in the sport so it's not a surprise that he'd miss an obvious knockdown while serving as referee.

Maybe he did, but they must have been many many years ago. I boxrec'd him after the Kessler-Froch fight and didn't see anything for quite a few pages. His name is burned into my head as a judge to watch out for when putting down a bet.

Interestingly enough since butchering those cards in favor of the home fighter each time he has been rewarded with a few more title fights.

Seems like a nice reward for a guy who carried out his mission.

I was looking at Herelius resume on boxrec and I was thinking "how the hell did this guy win two close decisions over a Frenchman in France?"

Then I realized he was French himself.
