So we've been over Pacquiao's options. What are Floyds?

I don't think Floyd would really consider either of those guys. Clearly they're the best fights for the fans, but Martinez is fresh off being an unknown and Pwill is both dangerous has that fabled lack of drawing power.
Burner mentioned Saul Alvarez, that's another good one. You know Floyd loves milking those Mexican fans. Plus he looks white, so he'll get love from all the white people that want to see Floyd lose.
Id say Khan and Alvarez are the fights, because they're acceptable to both boxing fans and marketable to the mainstream. They both have ethnic and national fans backing them. Khan is the bigger star so I really see him getting the nod, though.Comment

people forget that it took a natural disaster to finally fight Shane...he's not going anywhere near Williams or Martinez....
for the same reasons you cited; little fanbase (Martinez is just now getting his name outside of the diehards and Williams still needs to piggyback off Arreola's crowds) and high risk, low reward situations
i'm not sure about Khan...GBP might not want to ruin that name yet...they're still barely a few steps removed from patching up his image and make people forget about that loss to Prescott
Alvarez, that kid is just not ready...sure he has a big following in Mexico but he is basically a question mark as far as being a ppv draw...he might bring a few thousand to Vegas but i'm not sure if the revenue potential would be enough
i really dont know what other options could realistically happen for FLoyd
its not like he'll take a FREE HBO tuneup...not with the salary he commandsComment

Ofcourse they arent. Pac isnt about to take a competitive fight either. (Marg, Cotto) ring a bell?
You actually think Bradley vs. Floyd will be close? He ****s Bradley.
He doesnt have alot of options. No one mentioned it having to be competitive.Comment

Fuck Pacquiao, I couldn't care less who he faces man. Mayweather isn't getting any younger, he's already on the decline. So he has to take on opponents that would challenge him. It should be Mayweather vs. Paul Williams or Martinez, those are fights that would actually increase his status.Comment
