How high does the winner of Pac/FMJ rate on the ATG list?

What kind of impact would it have on the winner?

Manny would be taking away ATG Floyd's ''0''

and Floyd would have beaten an ATG in his prime

Who does the win benefit more?

if floyd wins, it would solidify him as the best of all time...but he will still get no credit

Well..... that depends on how he wins. And to some degree how Manny loses.

Same goes for Manny as well.

However, IF the fight happens, and its WAR, with blood and guts all over the place and the winner wins by either KO or UD, then to the victor goes the possible privilege of being considered top 3 or even #1 atg in all of boxing.

If Floyd dismantles Pacquiaoin a masterful way, (which he will) he would def be top 10 ATG.

It depends on how they win...

If it is a close fight ala JMM I and II or Castillo I then nothing changes.

If it is a dominant performance by Pac then he may.... Maybe crack the top 20-25.

If Floyd wins in a dominant performance then he may.... Maybe crack the top 25-30...

But, that is if they retire after the fight.... Lets not forget that when Roy Jones dismantled John Ruiz a lot of people were saying Roy was a top 10 ATG. But, he kept fighting and in his very next 3 fights went 1-2 with both losses coming by the way of KO and the one win was close.

So a lot depends on what they do after. They might accomplish better things that would move them up higher, they might suffer a Roy Jones type of faith that might hurt their legacy or they might retire for good and will be where I have them at.

However, IMO neither fighter will be the best fighter in the last 25 years... Let alone all time. That spot goes to Whitaker... And, a win for Floyd/Pac over Floyd/Pac no matter how dominant it is would NOT have them rank over Whitaker IMO.

Not sure about top 10 ATG.. other than Pacquiao, which ATG would Floyd have on his resume?

Top 10 ATG includes the likes of SRL who, along with his skills, has beaten Hearns, Hagler, Duran, Benitez

and even SRL as a top 10 ATG is debatable

The winner goes into the Top 25 Period.

With a convincing win I would put Pacquiao in the top 5 (if he wins) and Mayweather probably at #2 (if Mayweather wins).

How would Mayweather still be below Whitaker if he has a win over Pacquiao? A prime Pacquiao is better than anyone Whitaker fought. Mayweather has beaten more titlists, won belts in more weight classes, and by the time Whitaker reached Mayweather's age he was already shot.
