    Make Hopkins-Jones happen!!

Of course I'm not talking about Bernard Hopkins and RJJ. I mean Demetrius Hopkins and Mike Jones. This would be a good opportunity for both. Perhaps the winner gets a shot at Berto?

Uhhh...Jones' best wins are Henry Bruseles and soon to be Irving Garcia. Hopkins' best wins are the first Feliciano fight and the Forbes fight. That's not very far off.

And there's no shame in getting outboxed by Holt. The Devon and Khan fans somehow got it stuck in everyone's head that he sucks, when he clearly doesn't. And don't get confused by the Mabuza fight. He was severely weight drained that night. The dude can't even make 147 effectively right now, and that fight was at 140.

And let's not forget that he took the Holt fight on short notice.

but jones has actual talent, hopkins lives off his name which is funny because bernard doesnt want anything to do with him

holt is an excellent fighter, no doubt, but hes the zab judah of 140, speed, power and skill but no focus or desire

dont give me that " he took the holt fight on short notice" bs, holt was training for torres who couldnt or wouldnt make the weight, hopkins was to fight on the same date as the supporting event. holt was at a clear disadvantage because he was training for a monstrous power puncher in torres instead of a sweet boxer like hopkins so if anything holt was less prepared for hopkins than hopkins was for holt

if you rate feliciano over arnaoutis then pandas done here

Come on, you gotta admit the guy's got some talent. Not the best boxer in the world, but he's got some talent. He's even showed a few signs of his uncle's skills at times (of course a lower grade version). And Mike Jones hasn't really been tested yet. Sure he's looked good against tomato cans, but who hasn't? Heck Jeff Lacy looked like "the next Mike Tyson" against tomato cans. But when Jones stepped up in competition against Henry Bruseles, he looked very normal and not very impressive. He was even behind at one point. And Bruseles was not at his best either. That should have been a KO victory, since people think Jones is a big puncher.

I definitely agree with the Holt-Judah comparison though. Especially around the time he got locked up. But when did I say I rate Feliciano over Arnaoutis? Didn't Arnaoutis beat him senseless years ago? I just said the first Feliciano fight was an impressive win. I wasn't really thinking about the Arnaoutis fight because it just happened.

sorry panda misunderstood u about the feliciano thing

guess we agree for the most part but honestly hopkins is being a bit overrated since last night, hes fundamentally solid but doesnt have anything special,if he ever wins a world title (from a legit champ) panda will eat his words
