Yeah, it makes no sense to me. They won't even put the k-bros on ESPN2 for Pete's sake, I think it is a national thing at this point- we have nothing to offer in the form of HW contenders so our networks are now going to boycott them all together. They aren't the most exciting but boxing is boxing and I would rather watch either one of them in a title fight then some no names fighting for nothing. They have NABO and NABF title fights on ESPN2 all the time.....kind of messed up IMO

I think the networks have been making **** decisions for a while now.

I say they bring back ESPN PPV, make a lot of money, easy promotion with at least three well watched stations and they can make it cheaper than the other guys.

Why don't they do it again?

Actually I see where HBO is coming from. There is NO American heavyweight that can capture the hearts of everybody right now. When that guy comes along he'll be on HBO.

If ESPN got into the ppv game strong, they'd bury HBO but they don't want to spend the money.

I know they appeal to the masses, but they have the wherewithal to actually make people pay attention.

They got tons of people watching the station.

I mean **** they have millions watching half ass sports.

With a little promotion they could make big fights.

Oh well, we're a fringe sport nowadays anyways.

Yeah when ****ing poker is getting crazy ass ratings boxing has no excuse. Id like to see some ESPN PPV's. Sounds like a great idea. They have more cash than everybody else. Makes sense.

HBO is a USA TV Network, not the Red Cross.

People forget that they have to please the Audience which is a US audience.

What people want is good action packed fights/fighters.
