D-hop's side of the story is that Bernard kicked him out of his house that he was living at because he was two weeks late on rent. lol

The truth though from what I hear is they haven't got a long for a long while for various reasons, one going back to early on in his career Bernard told him to be a free agent and Demetrius didn't listen, signed with someone shady and ended up getting kinda screwed, eventually came to Golden Boy and he was getting some decent exposure but after he SHOULD have lost to Stevie Forbes I guess he was unhappy with the fights he was getting and blamed some of that on his uncle bernard and split with golden boy I think he went to top rank for a bit now he's with TKO something.

yeah I think D-Hop thought he was better and should be more famous than he is/was. He honestly talks about how he beat Forbes when everyone and their mama knows that was a robbery. I think that was the beginning of the end for him with Golden Boy because, well, not many people wanted to see him fight.
