whoever is arguing that Corrales isn't a boxer/puncher doesn't know what a boxer/puncher is obviously. Thomas Hearns and Diego Corrales are considered the two best examples of boxer/punchers in a long while. I think the Showtime commentators even hit on this several times. Saying Corrales isn't the ideal boxer/puncher is saying, "I don't know anything about boxing"

Diego is a one dimensional brawler/stalker/slugger. He can do all of those efficiently. Not a boxer.

Diego Corrales is THE boxer/puncher in the world of boxing today. On the current pound for pound list, Corrales is THE boxer/puncher, probably the only one on there. The boxer/puncher is the guy that can switch over and box or **** when need be. Spinks doesn't do that. Byrd doesn't do that. Guys like Judah and Mayweather are considered boxers.

I don't agree, Diego Corrales ain't that good of a boxer, his ok, but where has he showed to be a very good boxer?

Yes he beat Casamayor, but that wasn't all because of his skills, and you ****face the fight was VERY close...

Against Freitas he was basically losing till he stopped him..

Against Mayweather he just got whooped and his boxing didnt help him..

Can you name one fight where Chico outboxed the guy??
Freitas n Castillo was all cuz of power, he didn't show the best boxing skills in those fights..

Marvin Hagler was one of the better boxer punchers ever. But he could also brawl and fight in alot of other styles. Switch from southpaw to orthodox, Hagler could do it all, one of the most complete fighters ever. He had a great jab, good foot movement, a extremely good chin, good power, a good tactician, good defence, good stamina.

Yup, I agree. I think he is one of the best all round fighters.

(When looking at his carreer he started off more the counter boxer, and at the end of his carreer he was more the pressure fighter (and brawler).)
