Who makes the rules and why????
According to Manny, his stance is because of popularity and ppv sales....of course he has a tough time mentioning this when it comes to negotiating with a guy who has outsold him numerous times....Last edited by damned1974; 07-03-2010, 02:00 AM.Comment

Collect your money Manny. Make that boy Floyd pay for him and his ignorant family members mouths. Teach them that education is the key. You just can't run off at the mouth about unproven things. There is a level of respect you show individuals. The system will get those fools.Comment

We weren't talkin about " RULES " genius.....
You were trying to explain how Manny apparently wanted Floyd sooooo badly, and yet for some reason wouldn't accept a couple of perfectly reasonable terms.
Terms that are now apparently..... " acceptable " ..... for some reason.
Dream on loverboy, Manny either.....
1.) didn't want none of Floyd
2.) didn't want none of random blood tests
Which one was it, genius ?Comment

pssst..... *whispers*..... hey kid, the lawsuit is bull****, it doesn't exist..... and neither does the tooth fairyCollect your money Manny. Make that boy Floyd pay for him and his ignorant family members mouths. Teach them that education is the key. You just can't run off at the mouth about unproven things. There is a level of respect you show individuals. The system will get those fools.
But, I heard a rumour that if you cut your left arm off and put in under your pillow, then the good luck fairy will help Manny beat that nasty Mayweather guy

the lawsuit is not about boxing but about character assasination/ defamation/ respect as a person/ professionalism...
fighting in the ring as a boxer is a different scenario...Comment

just think a bit in this website alone, is there any Pac haters that keeps on typing almost everyday in their keyboards that Pac must be a cheat BEFORE the mayweather's accusation? that alone is already a proof that the accusation has damaged Pac's reputation/ integrity after the baseless accusation. You theory is literally impossible to prove in court. They can say that the attendance was successful and the fee was cheap due to Manny fighting an unknown commodity. It had nothing to do with people believing that he is a PED junkie.
Again-if his reputation was damaged-why did he get elected after the supposed accusations and why did he still have many career opportunities against other boxers.
Everyone knows that this defamation suit was spurred on AFTER Mayweather asked for randomized testing-not because he "accused" Manny....
you mustn't know that reputation is NOT a pre-requisite to become a public official in the Philippines, as long as you have loads of money to spend there is a big chance that you can win a political post...Comment

Well, that is actually a very good point when you think about it..... although I do think that refusing the 14-day cutoff may have also contributed.just think a bit in this website alone, is there any Pac haters that keeps on typing almost everyday in their keyboards that Pac must be a cheat BEFORE the mayweather's accusation? that alone is already a proof that the accusation has damaged Pac's reputation/ integrity after the baseless accusation.
Another good point, I think I have read another post saying something similar.Comment

I agree with sugar here garcia. And you mentioning that mayweather's fight with mosley had an 18 day cut off is irrelevant. Because the testing was done by usada and not the NSAC, so they didn't know they were not going to be tested or that there was going to be a cut off, that was the usada decision. So mentioning that like he's asking for something more from Pacquiao than he is from mosley is crazy. I dont know where you live whether your born in the US or another country but Manny has no leverage at the negotiation table this time around. He lost significant creditability after he refused the 14day cut off the 1st time. Not to mention they had a mediator try to sit down and work things out for 9hrs, then Bob Arum goes on record saying that Schaefer and DE La hoya tried to convince Mayweather to take a 24 day cut off. When it was mentioned that Pacquiao's team refused a 14 day cut off a day later. Arum was no where to be found for comment. No point arguing with a *****. Believe what you want to believe and be proud of it. Yep, I hope you're proud of this whacked-up mentality. The fact that Floyd's last fight was an 18 day cut-off, and here *****s can't even accept a 14 day cut-off. GTFO of here and stop insulting people's IQs.
Floyd can always say NO to the fight. No one is forcing him to say YES. The rest of the world would just move on. If *****s think that Pac and his fans would display remorse and all that girly stuff.... haha... LOL. How can anyone be so idiotic. I for one would just move on and forget the whole damn thing. But I could imagine the flak Floyd would get for the rest of his life.
Fact of the matter is that in today's society no body gets the benefit of the doubt. Baseball and Football had long had there problems with performance enhancers and the testing protocol they use in boxing is worse. Do i think Manny is on something, at 1st i agreed with a lot of his fans and thought one of two things. "1. Mayweather is trying to find an excuse not to fight him or 2. He's just getting in his head. Now all Manny has to do is comply, because whether we fill the allegations are outlandish or unfounded it shouldn't matter to us, we're not stepping in the ring against him.
Top Rank and Team Pacquiao know what they are trying to do, i just doubt if it works. There biggest mistake the 1st time was assuming that Mayweather would chose some cupcake to fight while manny was fighting Clottey. BUt when your trainer goes on record and tells the world that he refused a fight with Pacquiao against Mosley because Mosley is not a De La Hoya and he's just to good, and your opposition takes on Mosley in dismantles him. Not to mention, makes 4 times as much as he did in his previous fight. It's hard to walk back to the table like your **** don't stink when we fill you never wiped your ass at the toilet.
What im trying to say is that all this speculation about Manny possibly being on performance enhancers might of been brought up by Mayweather sr, but they were amplified by Manny's lack of ignorance about the seriousness his fans feel about this. We had our own sports figures cheat there way in the record books and vice versa if we had this same thought about Floyd, i dont think he would be allowed to box unless he took a test to prove people wrong. Manny looks more guilty by association than he ever did by Mayweather sr. accusations.Comment
