I think Povetkin survives a 12-round lopsided ass-whooping similar to the Ibragimov fight, but it'll be more exciting because he's not an awkward southpaw unwilling to engage.
If he brings even half the fight Sosnowski came with, it'll be entertaining to watch.

You know it's Wlad, not Vitali right? Wlad will TKO Povetkin probably in 7 or 8 rounds.
The scared coward David Haye has pussied out AGAIN.
So now the IBF/WBO/IBO/RING Unified World Heavyweight Champ Wladimir Klitschko (54-3, 48 KOs) will defend his belts against the Undefeated #1 Contender Alexander Povetkin (19-0, 14 KOs) on September 18 in Germany. The fight will be televised by HBO or Showtime.
This will be a very interesting fight. It will be a battle of Olympic Gold Medalists. Ukrainian Wladimir Klitschko won Olympic Gold in 1996. The Russian Povetkin won Olympic Gold in 2004.
Who will win?
Until some other 8 foot freak comes along that is in shape this fool is not losing.
This fight isnt even fair. What they need to do is have a 16 man HW tournament without Wlad and Vitali. Make a bracket like March Madness, winner gets a shot at wlad. Whoever would win 4 matches in a row would prove they deserve it, and gain some valuable experience and build hype for the fight. I still think Wlad punishes them, but something like that would really help revive this thing in America. While us Americans may not like white european boxers(as a whole, personally my favorite fighters of all time are Cal-Z, wlad and vitali), we do love brackets.
Put like; Arreola, Solis, Povetkin, Dimi, Adamek, Haye, Austin, Tua, Toney, Valuev, Chagaev, Peter, Boystov, Briggs,Maskaev, and Holyfield
put them in brackets based on current rank. Like Haye could fight Holyfield first round etc...and watch excitement happen. And if someone doesnt agree find someone else, who cares, just get 16 dudes, or even 8, put them in a single elimination tourney with some stipulation that a draw requires a rematch in 2 months or something, and I am telling you excitement in the U.S. will return, heck sell the damn thing as a reality show if you have to, but this would work.

So your solution is for the Klitschkos to do nothing for a 2 years while this 4 round tournament plays out?
Also... "Haye could fight Holyfield... and watch excitement happen" ...
Dude you have to be taking the piss on that one right?
I tend to agree with this, but I think if Povetkin can get inside Wlad's chest he could do some damage and take Wlad deeper than we've seen in a while.
That being said, Wlad's toughness is 1000% more than it was after the Brewster fight and he will be able to take Povetkin's best and still k.o him in under 10 rounds.
