Pac and Floyd Last 3yrs of previous fights..

In the past 3 yrs we look at both Floyd and Pacman and their level of competition...

    Floyd
    2007 Oscar SD WIN
    2007 Hatton KO WIN
    LATE 2007-Mid 2009 Lay off
    2009 Mid Marquez UD
    2010 Mosley UD

    Pacman
    2007 Solis KO
    2007 Barrera UD
    2008 Marquez SD
    2008 Diaz KO
    2008 DLH TKO
    2009 Hatton KO
    2009 Cotto TKO
    2010 Clottey UD

Level of competition in the last 3 yrs Pac has had tough and more challenges in the past 3 yrs alone. This is something to consider when comparing the two..

Pac has been in serious battles compared to Floyd who's won a SD against DLH, KO Hatton in the late rounds before being pressured, took about a 2 year layoff, fought a smaller fighter in Marquez (really no competition there), and fought a Shane Mosely who didnt really do much after the 2rd..

Its all about level of competition and Pac has had some serious competition in the past 3 yrs alone..

U cant compare the two fighters last few years because at one point in time FLoyd was fighting back to back to get that payday. No difference in What manny was doing at the time Floyd had finally got it against Oscar. Manny was climbing his way up then he got it againt Oscar after Floyd retired. They were at 2 different points in their careers. One was getting Paydays and the other was in search for his. Now that they both have reached that level all they look for is big names for big paydays. Pacs number of fights will decrease as well.

Why does it matter if a fighter has already been beaten by floyd? You can't just fight undefeated fighters.

Previous fights dont matter. You cant use the triangle theory in boxing because "styles make fights". The only thing that matters is that both these mother****ers sign on the dotted line and throwdown on Nov 13th so we can stop all this damn bickering and 1 upping each other.

I don't really see how you come to the conclusion that Pac's level of opposition is higher. Pacquiao has fought more fights than Mayweather, but Mayweather's average level of opposition is higher. He fought better versions of Oscar and Hatton than Pacquiao did (although Pacquiao fought a better version of Marquez), and Mosley was rated higher than Cotto or Clottey. It's not like Solis, Diaz, or past-prime coming-off-a-loss Barrera were particularly dangerous opponents either.

            Pacquiao = more fights
Mayweather = less fights, but those fights are against quality opponents

Yes sir. I'm a fan of Mayweather but a bigger fan of boxing. It gets annoying hearing people come up with any way possible to argue that their fighter is better than the other. Hopefully we find out in November and there will be no excuses.
