Bernard turned pro at a much later age than Shane Mosley so his body took less damage. That has to do with Bernard being successful at a later age in my opinion.

1)Mosley was overtrained in his last fight (2 training camps in the row can **** you up especially at 38 or 39)

2)He lost to the best boxer on the planet

I think he can bounce back.

I like Mosley but I really think he should retire. He will always be in the history books for his two victories over Oscar De La Hoya, The fight with Floyd was really a crossroads fight for him. Now that fight is over and done with I think he should call it a day, His speech doesnt sound good and I dont like to see guy's hang around for longer than they should. If Mosley wants to hang around and have a few more fights in California then that's his choice but I dont want to see him take much more punishment. He doesnt have anything to gain by sticking around.
