Let the man alone. He has no urgency in getting his undefeated record tarnished.

Hopefully he really did agreed to 50-50 and it's just not Arum negotiating by him self once again. Even Schaefer said no comment on the negotiations. So far it's been all Top Rank talking about negotiations.

It's difficult to say. At the end of the day Floyd wanting 60% was never substantiated from any reliable source.

Well I guess he don't want the fight then because 50/50 ain't heppening and even if he don't want the fight what are you gonna do call him scared fraud gayweather? You guys do that anyway and do you think Floyd gives a ****? NO he just made 40 million he doesn't give a *** what you think about him he doesnt have time to sit on the computer and hate all day my mans is a multi millionaire he has the two highest selling non HW fights in boxing ppv history and you tryna say he should split his purse 50/50 with a guy who didn't even break a million ppv buys his last fight why? because you want to see a fight well I'm gonna tell you right now Floyd is not gonna short himself for you

If the negotiation has reached an agreement, that means that both fighters position have been represented(at least i hope) and all that's left to do is for the fighters to sign. The reason why Arum mentions that Mayweather needs to sign is because Mayweather is his own promoter and he makes the final decision, Pacquiao will sign without a doubt because Arum makes that decision.

There is something not right about this situation. Why is Arum trying so hard to sway public opinion?

Until there is a press conference or something, I refuse to believe the hype.

remember when Pacman was gonna fight hatton, the day before the fight floyd announces his unretirement against marquez, if he wanted pacman why didnt he wait one more day and fight pacman?

floyd if you retire, good, dont come back cuz real boxing fans dont want you back
He did the smartest thing. Which isn't always looked at as the bravest. He took a "tune up" againts the #2 pound for pound fighter. Someone he knew he could beat. Someone that gave Manny fits...to create buzz and to try and get his p4p #1 ranking back. Floyd wanted the fight I think Manny wanted the fight. I don't think Pac's team wanted the fight right then. I think Roach needed more time. Has nothing to do with being scared on each side. It's about what's the smart thing to do...

Just reading into the Arum statement, it seems as if he knows the purposal is something Floyd will counter. That means Arums next statement will be "we can't reach a deal, fights off"...
Arums deal (50/50, 14 day cut off)..
I doubt Floyd balks at 50/50, 14 days he may counter 7 days. That's where we'll see what Uncle Bob wants to do, we'll see if he'll take it or leave it. I say he'll leave it and go with Marg/Pac in Tx, and try a spin job to make it look like Floyd didn't want it.
In reality, Team Pac left the 50/50, 7 days, 8oz, 147, ring, location, billing on the table.

                    • As much as I wanna see this fight, Floyd would be a ***** to let Arum dictate to him. They act like their holding the cards and I hope PBF don't let them get this off. Only way this fight should happen on Nov.13th is if PBF is getting 60/40 and OST up to fight time or at least 3 days before.
