Why did they perform the anthem anyways? The fight was on Mexican soil and Margarito is the furthest thing from American. Yeah, he was born here but he has never embraced American roots and infact has tried to stay away from them.

Well Garcia has lived in America for most his live i think or maybe its because TR was promoting and just wanted to do it for the american audience
